“He felt now that he was not simply close to her, but that he did not know where he ended and she began.”
— Leo Tolstoy
When Becky and Tim contacted me to shoot their nuptials on the MN border with Iowa, it was pretty last minute. Things had fallen through with their original photographer, and one of the bridesmaids is a sweet friend of mine. I must admit, I shy away from winter weddings in MN. I follow natural light like water in a desert, and the church sanctuary Becky and Tim were planning to be married in was, like most churches around here, not exactly banked with windows. And even if it had been, the late afternoon ceremony meant there would be little sunshine left by the time they exchanged their vows. But, in the end, I was so incredibly blessed to share in their big day with them– catching the excitement and love of the whole family surrounding them in prayer and joy as they took their first steps into forever together…
This post is long over due. The clients received their images weeks ago. But, nonetheless, a little peek at the small-town, southern MN, winter wedding of Tim & Becky! Also… is anyone else blown over by what a stunning bride Becky made?!
(That very last photo– dancing her her daddy– makes me a little teary <3)
